I am the very lucky recipient of a State Library Fellowship this year — the Children’s Literature Fellowship, to be precise. Fellows get a shared office in the historic State Library of Victoria, help with their research from the amazing librarians there, and access to the incredible SLV collections.
The Fellowship is enabling me to research a historical YA novel, a project I’ve wanted to tackle for a long time, but have been quite scared to do so. You can read about my project here, and here are some hints about what I’ll be diving into in the next 12 months.
